Fullstack Engineer
Own complex product surfaces end-to-end
About the role
As a Fullstack Engineer, you'll own complex product surfaces end-to-end: rich dashboards, media pipelines, and the backend systems that power them. You'll partner with design and research to turn prototypes into polished, production features; make smart architecture tradeoffs; and relentlessly push for performance and simplicity.
What you'll do
- Own product surfaces end to end, from the schema to the last pixel
- Build dashboards and media pipelines that stay fast with real data volumes
- Turn prototypes from design and research into features people rely on
- Make architecture tradeoffs deliberately, and write down why
- Keep the system simple enough that the next person can move quickly in it
You may be a good fit if
- You've shipped and maintained production web applications end to end
- Strong TypeScript and React, with real backend experience behind it
- Comfort with databases, APIs, and the boring parts that keep things reliable
- You care about performance and simplicity, not just feature count
Nice to have
- Next.js, Prisma, or Postgres in production
- Media processing, image pipelines, or working with AI APIs
- Early-stage experience owning a surface with little supervision
About NEX
NEX is the growth system for consumer packaged goods brands. We replace the scattered stack of agencies and point tools with one place where creative, measurement, and media buying feed each other: ad performance tells us what to make next, and what we make gets measured against net profit rather than platform-reported ROAS. We're a small team working directly with the brands that use us.
Apply even if you don't match every line above. The lists describe the work, not a checklist. If you can do the job, tell us how you know.
