Own discovery, outreach, and closing in one vertical
About the role
You'll own customer discovery, outreach, relationship building, and deal closing in your vertical. This means understanding how companies in this space make decisions; what their core concerns are; and how NEX can support them. Comp scales with what you close with NO ceiling and generous accelerators.

What you'll do
- Own one vertical end to end: build the target list, learn the category, and become the person brands in it want to hear from
- Run outbound across email, LinkedIn, events, and warm intros, and turn those conversations into qualified demos
- Lead discovery calls that get to a brand's real constraint: creative throughput, wasted spend, or attribution they can't trust
- Shape proposals and pricing with the NEX team, and close
- Hand off to Customer Pathfinders with enough context to make the first 90 days go well
- Bring what you hear in the market back to product and positioning
You may be a good fit if
- You've sold into CPG, retail, e-commerce, or marketing services, or you've worked inside a CPG brand and know these problems first-hand
- You're comfortable owning a number and prospecting from a blank page
- You can hold a credible conversation about paid social, retail media, and what good ad performance looks like
- You write clearly and follow up without being a pest
- You want your compensation tied to what you close
Nice to have
- An existing network of CPG founders, CMOs, or growth leads
- Experience selling into Amazon or retail media
- Early-stage startup experience, where the playbook didn't exist yet
